About

Smarter Learning Center serves as a facilitator for the prestigious President's Volunteer Service Award, and also runs a summer camp and afterschool program that focuses on English and Math education.

We are proud to be a site licensee of Learning Path, a leading educational software adaptive system that utilizes AI technology to create a customized curriculum for each individual student based on their specific needs and abilities.

With our partnership and its adaptive software allows our instructors to analyze data on each student's performance, identify their areas of greatest need, and develop targeted lessons and activities to support their improvement.

The camp is directed by Austin Ji Song, who is currently a Director of Smarter Learning Center and advised by Yuliya Zorkina, a Harvard graduate with a Master in School Administration degree, who has extensive experience in education program and Summer Camp management.

Additionally, we strive to foster a deeper understanding of the global climate crisis and inspire kids to become advocates and leaders for environmental sustainability.

Values

Our summer camp program offers a wide range of fun and educational activities for middle school students, with a focus on teaching engineering concepts and design models to solve current issues.

We also offer optional programs like the Columbia University Hudson River project, providing campers with a unique opportunity to learn about ecosystems and contribute to meaningful projects, and Makers, providing an experience of engineering.

With a commitment to academic excellence, we take a serious approach to math and English, using the Learning Path platform to adapt to individual learning needs.
