Artificial Inteligent Program

AI - Elementary
1ST& 2nd: Fri
3rd & 4th: Mon & Wed  10:00 am - 11:00 pm
(2 weeks)

This summer, give your young child a transformative experience through engaging and educational AI tools designed by Google Labs. Here’s what they will learn and how each tool contributes to their development:

Teachable Machine
What They Learn: Kids teach a computer to recognize images, sounds, and motions, learning the basics of machine learning.
Why It's Important: It introduces young learners to how AI "learns" from data, fostering an early understanding of complex concepts through interactive play.

Quick, Draw!
What They Learn: Improving communication and artistic skills by interacting with an AI that tries to recognize their drawings.
Why It's Important: This game enhances creative expression and teaches pattern recognition, showing how AI processes and interprets visual information.

AI Duet
What They Learn: Engaging with an AI in a musical duet, responding in real-time to the piano they play.
Why It's Important: Demonstrates AI's potential in creative fields, encouraging children to see technology as a partner in art and creativity.

Enroll your child at Smarter Summer Camp for a summer of innovation, creativity, and groundbreaking fun. It’s not just play; it’s preparing them to lead in the tech-savvy world of tomorrow.

AI Explorer Curriculum Overview
📘 Week 1: How AI Thinks (Expert Systems, Decision Trees & Teachable Machine)

Goal: Understand how AI mimics human reasoning and how it learns from data.

  • 🔹 Expert Systems

  •  Campers designed logic-based paper models that answered questions (e.g., “Can I bring a phone to camp?” What careers recommended based on MBTI test?).

  •  Introduced how AI can simulate human thinking with rules.

  • 🔹 Decision Trees & Flowcharts

  •  Students mapped out their logic visually, reinforcing how AI narrows down choices step-by-step.

  • 🔹 Teachable Machine

  •  Hands-on demo of training a simple AI model.

  •  Used basic image classification (e.g., Rock–Paper–Scissors or “happy vs. sad” faces).

  •  Advanced voice training and motion training for advanced students.

  •  Discussed what happens when the data is unclear, unfair, or limited — introducing concepts like bias and feedback loops.

📙 Week 2: App Design & AI Agents

Objective: Apply what they learned by building real-world tools using AI principles.

  • 🔹 App Design

  •  Set up simple apps to experience how the app works.

  •  Learn interface and set up the fundamental basics.

  • 🔹 Voice & Chat Agents (HighLevel)

  •  Connected AI designed model to ai app to make apps.

  •  Practiced voice-based input/output, response control, decision paths.

  •  Saw how AI can simulate conversations and support people.
